La Figue

This original piece features a still-life painting of figs in a classical 19th-century style. The piece was created using pastels and colored pencils on cotton rag paper. The original piece is 7.5” x 7.5” and mounted with a black mat which brings out it’s richness.

The piece is framed in a 16” x 16” gold combination frame that was handcrafted by combining two frames and painting them to match, the frame has a 10.5” opening including a 1.75” wide mat surrounding the piece. The back of the combination frame is overlayed with black velvet. The glazing is a gallery UV filtering plexiglass (Acrylite OP3) designed to block out at 99.7% of UV light, ensuring lasting protection of the artwork. This plexiglass is a superior substitute to glass - it is lighter and shatterproof and provides extensive UV protection to prints and original artwork.

The piece comes hand-signed by the artist and includes a certificate of authenticity on the back.
