The Laureat

This original piece features a handsome cockatoo, meticulously drawn using colored pencils on drafting film (a synthetic translucent medium which is archival) with a wash of watercolors in the background. The original piece is 11x14" and mounted on a white sheet.

The piece is framed in a 18.5" x 22.5" black wood frame, a 16x20 opening with a 2.5" white mat. The glazing is a gallery UV filtering plexiglass (Acrylite OP3) designed to block out at 99.7% of UV light, ensuring lasting protection of the artwork. This plexiglass is a superior substitute to glass - it is lighter, shatterproof. and provides extensive UV protection to prints and original artwork.

The piece comes hand signed by the artist and includes a certificate of authenticity on the back.
